First time dining in today wasn’t sure what to expect as previous reviews were so mixed and matched. Today this was our experience…We had a group of thirteen people comprised of kids and adults. As soon as we walked in the door straight off the bat we were greeted with smiles and hellos. We were automatically taken to our booked table. The menu was so diverse and appetising it made the options very difficult to select. Eventually orders were made. The food didn’t take long to arrive. The quality and taste were amazing - compliments to the chefs. The portions justified the price definitely. The desserts were fantastic. Fresh and tasty (again big portions) gave our dining experience the perfect finishing touch. Great services were consistent throughout. Fat Chef restaurant is without a doubt a highly recommended place to dine in. Can’t wait to go back. See you guys again soon. Cheers!

They make a delicious, hearty lasagna that my husband absolutely loved. The calamari is also great—perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The aioli sauce that comes with it is top-notch too.

First time here and we absolutely loved it. Came to celebrate a birthday. The service was first class, made us feel so welcome. Lovely atmosphere with live music and songs. Amazing yummy food platter shared by the family.But what we will take with us is a memory of the hospitality shown towards us. 2 family members had 2 separate clumsy incidents of spills and one accidentally breaking a glass. It just wasn't our evening! We were dying from embarrassment. But, the way the waiter and waitresses dealt with us with compassion and tidying the mess with a smile and not allowing us to pay for the broken glass...and to tell us.. "don't worry about it. You guys must have had a tiring day, it's time to go home, rest and reset. Accidents happen!" That's a great culture shared across the restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Seven family members went there on a Monday night and everyone enjoyed their meal. Meals sizes were generous Very reasonably priced and service was great. Will be going back.

Second time at this restaurant and cannot fault it!! Went back again tonight for my hubby’s birthday. Kids loved their meals, platter was beautiful, my salmon was delicious. We brought our own birthday cake and staff did everything to light candles and bring everything out so we could celebrate. Even gave out little ones some free lollies and they were so happy. This is definitely our new local. Staff are so lovely and friendly and food has never disappointed, great coffee too.

Awesome place for a delicious Parma and great vibe. Food came out relatively quick and it was huge! Fed 4 of us very well.Highly recommend if you love your Parmas or Parmis if you're not from Melbourne.

Amazing steak night at Fat Chef! I asked for a well done steak… They perfectly cooked it to my satisfaction, it wasn’t over cooked at all! One of my rare experiences in having a well done steak… I really enjoyed of what I had plus a yummy mushroom sauce, a bit of salad and fresh fries! Great atmosphere too! Certainly will back there soon! Highly recommended!

This is a great family restaurant. They have a small kids play space outside and staff is very friendly to provide little ones everything they need. Food is fantastic. Chips and Rib eye fillet are the best.
